Mission Statement

The mission of the Website committee is to provide information about the programs and activities of the San Diego Chapter of AWIS to members and non-members. The website committee works with the AWIS Board and Committee Chairs to ensure that the information appearing on the website is current.

Joining the Website Committee:

The committee is in need of talented editors, writers and people who have experience coding in html or other website-relevant experience. The committee meets once per month in person or via email. To join the committee contact Barbara Armstrong.

Website Committee Wins the AWIS "Achievement in Innovation Award":

The award was presented to the committee in October of 2005 for their redesign of the AWIS-SD website. Committee members responsible for this award include: Fan-Li Chou, Sandra Encalada, Jennifer Fissekis, Susan Forsburg, Anjali Kansagara, Ursula Kessen, Natalie Schiller, Lisa Whalen, Janet White, Grace Yang, Michele Yeo, Lynn Yieh, and Barbara Armstrong.
