Job Board

Our chapter currently has over 400 active members and is growing at a rate of about 40 members per year. AWIS-San Diego members include women at many different career levels that are in a range of scientific fields. We have members that are in early career stages including laboratory technicians, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows. Others are senior scientists in biotechnology, professors at top research institutes and CEOs of local companies. Further, we have members that are in other science careers including business development, science writing, technology commercialization, patent law, sales and marketing.

This On-line Job Board is available to anyone who visits this site. The posting options (number of jobs, length of posting) are described below. Your jobs will be posted within 1 business day upon confirmation of your payment. Payment may be made using a major credit card (Visa/Mastercard). Jobs will be checked for accuracy before they are posted. You will receive notification by e-mail when the job postings are about to expire.

Note: Each employer can submit up to 10 job postings maximum at a time.

1) Hot Jobs -
	$15 per job
		- One-time e-mail alert to AWIS members with job description (no website posting)
2) Monthly -
	$90 up to 3 jobs $165 up to 7 jobs $200 up to 10 jobs
		- Jobs will be posted on the website for 30 days - AWIS members will receive one-time e-mail alert of newly posted jobs
3) Bi-monthly -
	$110 up to 3 jobs $185 up to 7 jobs $220 up to 10 jobs
		- Jobs will be posted on the website for 60 days - AWIS members will receive one-time e-mail alert of newly posted jobs
4) Quarterly -
	$150 up to 3 jobs $200 up to 7 jobs $250 up to 10 jobs
		- Jobs will be posted on the website for 90 days - AWIS members will receive one-time e-mail alert of newly posted jobs - Jobs will be listed in the AWIS Newsletter
To post one or more jobs, send an email to Lili Chen indicating: the type and number of jobs you are interested in posting,the name of the company posting the job(s), and the job title(s). Send the job descriptions in a single pdf document and include information about how the applicant is to apply for the position.
