This one-day symposium includes two keynote speakers and a series of workshops focusing on career and personal development. It is an excellent opportunity for members of the scientific community to network, develop new skills and explore career opportunities.

2007 AWIS-SD scholarship recipients to be honored at WIB 2007

The Scholarship Committee has selected nine outstanding women applicants at different levels of their academic careers as this year’s AWIS scholarships winners. All winners of this year’s scholarship awards have demonstrated outstanding commitment to and achievement in their academic and extracurricular pursuits. Their academic interests and chosen fields of study cover a number of scientific disciplines, including: Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Human Biology, Ecology/ Behavior/ Evolution, Psychology, Nursing, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Bioengineering.
